The Snaefellsnes peninsula

Snaefellsnes glacier – Kirkjufell – Djupalonssandur

This tour is packed with exciting options

If you recognise the following sentence, The journey to the centre of the earth, you know where we are headed on this packed private day tour. This peninsula has been described by many as a must see for travellers interested in natural beauty and unexplainable natural powers. The astonishing glacier sits tight on top of the dormant volcano that once terrorised the area with its eruptions. Join me on one of my favourite tours and return happy at the end of an amazing day.

Description:

I remember the first time that I visited the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The mystique, the beauty and the energy of the place is breathtaking. As a tour guide, one’s eyes open more to nature’s gifts, that we have received and enjoy so much. I would like you to join me on a tour of these surreal locations that the peninsula has to offer. Of course, for those that know Game of Thrones, the distinctly shaped peak of Kirkjufell or Church mountain was made world famous in the series. There is more to see. Snaefellsnes glacier, from a distance, looks amazing. The black sand beach of Djupalonssandur and Londrangar cliffs. Raudfeldsgja ravine, during summer, is beautiful. There are also beautiful villages on the way. There is actually to much to see and too little time to see it. But I hope that you feel the need to see what I am describing.
