The South Coast

Seljalandsfoss waterfall – Skogafoss – Reynisfjara – Vik

This tour is packed with exciting options

What do you look for when you visit a country for the first time? I normally want to hear about the history of the country and meet some of it’s people, see some of the sights and taste something extraordinary. My golden circle tour is like this, a mixture of knowledge about Iceland’s history and it’s people, culture and food. We also get to see some of the special sites that the area offers, Thingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss & Fridheimar.

At Fridheimar, you can have delicious food that is prepared for you from fresh ingredients from the area and of course experience having lunch inside a fully operational tomato greenhouse.

At the Secret Lagoon (optional), the country’s oldest swimming pool, you can relax in the warm hot spring water before we head back to Reykjavik. Truly, a wonderful and packed day of knowledge, good humor, good food, excellent company and magnificent landscape!

Description:

The south coast of Iceland is incredibly beautiful with its black sand and the glaciers and volcanoes hovering over it all. Endless numbers of birds including the funny looking Puffin (during summer). This full-day private tour gives you insight and knowledge about this country’s history, geology and culture. What do most people look for, when visiting this remote atlantic island of ours? Is it the fermented shark or the sour whale blubber? Could it be our glaciers, volcanoes and black sand beaches? The Puffin? I strive to answer these questions and others while I introduce our culture and our history to you on this extensive private day tour. I will show you the best that the area offers in the limited time that we have.

Come with me and let me show you who we are.
